I am locked out of my antique or antique-style furniture.
What should I do? |

This can be a real challenge. First, you might try buying a
small assortment of barrel keys to try. We cannot speak for other
shops, but at Busse’s will refund or exchange these keys as long as they
haven’t been damaged. But this will only work in about 25% of these cases.
If it fails, you will need a service call or will need to transport the
entire piece to a locksmith shop. In either case, it is impossible to
predict whether the project will take 5 minute or 5 hours or more. Do not
expect a quote or even an estimate. We, and most other locksmiths, will
charge for the blanks (several of which might be destroyed in the
process) and hourly for our time. |
