I think that an unauthorized person has the
keys or combination to my safe or lockbox.
What should I do? |

Changing combinations on safe dials is a very common service
offered by locksmiths. If the safe door is portable, you can bring it in to
the shop for this service. Otherwise, you will need a service call. If it
is an electronic keypad, it probably came with instructions that allow you to
change the combination yourself. If you have lost these instructions, get
the safe model or serial number and any brand or model numbers from the lock
(these are often different!). Contact
us or a
locksmith in your area for further consultation. If it is a keyed lock,
you will need to either have it
rekeyed or replace it. Again, if it
is portable you can bring it to the shop to avoid a service call fee. |
